Two associate companies of Karnaphuli (HR Securities and Finvest Financial Services) are Members of Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchanges respectively and work as broker houses, dealing in shares and securities transacted at the Exchange.
Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited (DSE) the country's prime and oldest capital market, started its journey in 1954, the same year that Karnaphuli was incorporated. Chittagong Stock Exchange was established in 1995 as the second stock exchange of Bangladesh in the Port City of Chittagong.
Karnaphuli has acquired a stake in GSP Finance Company (Bangladesh) Limited, a publicly listed top rated and performing financial services company, due licensed by Bangladesh Bank as a non-banking financial institution. Karnaphuli has Board representation in GSP Finance.
